Don't Judge Me

So, I created this blog to give my input and opinions on books I read. Where do I even begin with this? I am in no way judging authors as people and never intend for that to come across in my blog. I figured I'll write a few words of my own to wrap the book in a nutshell as well as give my honest opinion about said books. I am also going to give a scoring system. This shall be referred to as Lip Smacking. Take out of that what you will. Here is how I run things in this scoreboard:

One Lip Smack = I barely finished this book...didn't do a thing for me.

Two Lip Smacks = Not a bad read...a one night stand.

Three Lip Smacks = Pretty dang good. I'd tap that again.

Four Lip Smacks = Damn. I need a cigarette. Would read over and over and over.

Five Lip Smacks = There are no words, oh wait, yes..all the words needed are In.The.Book.

Please note when I am rating these books, its not the Steamy Value (though that plays into it), I focus on getting so involved in the story that I actually have heart trips. Literally. I connect with characters and either feel everything they do or I feel like I'm on a parallel plane and seeing all of the events of the story-line unfold. When a book consumes me...that earns more Lip Smacks!
